What is FEBRATEX?

FEBRATEX is a Brazilian professional trade fair for the textile and apparel industry. Its 2026 edition is presented as the 19th and announced as a four-day event, running from 18 to 21 August at Parque Vila Germânica in Blumenau, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. The official page frames the visit around machinery, inputs and new developments distributed across ten sectors of the textile chain. It can be read alongside Inspiramais and Minas Trend, which occupy different positions in Brazil's professional fashion calendar.

What does the 2026 edition put on the agenda?

The announced edition expands its physical footprint and combines exhibition space with applied content. FIESC records an additional 4,765 m² compared with 2024, bringing the event to about 40,000 m² in ten pavilions. Organisers project approximately 670 stands, 3,300 brands and participants from about 65 countries; these are organisational projections, not realised results. The same source describes exhibitors ranging from machinery and input manufacturers to startups, technology suppliers, fibre producers, chemical companies and digital-solution developers.

The content design is especially relevant to people working between material and product. The Febratex Summit preview addresses technological, productive and environmental transformations; Radar Têxtil connects trend research, raw materials and practical product application; and the announced workshop covers fabric quality and supplier development for brands and apparel manufacturers. Together, these strands make it possible to compare a technology proposition with its consequences for material selection, specification and industrialisation, without treating attendance as proof of any supplier's performance.

How can FEBRATEX be used in the fashion chain?

FEBRATEX can serve as an observation point for product development, sourcing, production and technical purchasing decisions. A visitor can separate four questions: which process problem does a solution address; what material or input does it require; how does its application reach the product; and which data must be compared before acquisition? The presence of machinery makers, technology suppliers, fibre producers and chemical companies makes this reading more concrete than a visit guided only by trends.

Historical scale must remain bounded as well: FIESC describes the previous edition as having 2,700 brands in 550 stands, while the 2026 figures are projections. Abit independently lists the event and its Blumenau dates in its public agenda. For connections with other Brazilian events, see Francal, Fenin and Brasil Eco Fashion Week; proximity in the graph does not mean equivalent audience, scope or organisation.

How should a visit be planned?

The official page states that visitor registration is free until 15 August 2026 and that admission costs R$50.00 after that date. Editorial or sourcing plans should recheck the current edition's calendar, registration rules and availability, because these conditions belong to the 2026 announcement.
